Poor Lincoln bug. Getting a new tooth and a stuffy nose all at the same time. Which of course results in a fever. Now a sick baby is most certainly not my highlight of the day. However, for a kid that won't sit still and is constantly trying to leap out of my arms, the chance to sit and cuddle him up. That my friends is a moment worth remembering.

From barbies, dolls, school and house. To the crazy teenage years of dating, dances, hairdo's, clothes. Here we are all grown-up, just starting this crazy thing called motherhood. Dirty diapers, counting pennies, wiping noses....through it all this girl remains one of my best friends. There is a special place in your heart that only a sister can fill. I for one am so grateful for that beautiful dark haired, brown-eyed baby girl born on July 30, 1984. Happy 25th Ash!

Ah sprinklers. What is it about them that I so love. I love the sound of the rainbirds as they flip back and forth. I love to hear them through my bedroom window at night. I love the smell of them as they hit the pavement. The look of them dripping off perfectly manicured lawns. Especially these little hand sprinklers, just something good and old fashioned about it. We have a few dry spots, so I pull out my trusty little friend and she goes to work. Summertime!

Why do I have a picture of my door do you ask. Cause this door gave us a good laugh today. Our home teacher was leaving our house, he bent down to fix his shoes. Stood up and smack, ran right into the door. Poor guy, he was so embarrassed. Mumbled something about the window being really clean and literally ran out to his car. As soon as he was safely pulled away from the curb, Thiago and I busted up. I feel bad for laughing at his expense, but holy cow. I have heard of this happening but never actually seen someone walk into a glass door. Funny!!

The young women's president was sick, so I got my first shot at going to ward counsel. After that they surprised me by saying I had PPI for the young women's. WHAT...no one told me about that. I totally just guessed my way through it, and told them what I think they wanted to hear. Who knows. I did my fair share of whining once I got home but we all know I secretly love that kind of thing. Love to be busy, feel important, organizing, planning, all that fun stuff that goes into being a part of a presidency. I really am enjoying this calling.

Happy B-day to a very special lady. So glad we got the chance to take you out to dinner and spend time with all of our wonderful friends. We love you so much and are so grateful to have you as our mom and grandma. Thank-you for all that you do and the love that you give. Hope this next year treats you well and always remember how much you are LOVED!

Good times at the Roy Aquatic Center. Got to spend the day with both of our families. Carson ran from pool to pool, barely coming out to eat. Lincoln looked like a little bounty hunter in his awesome outfit. Theo was a good sport and came with us even though he hates swimming. And me, I got to enjoy the chitter chatter of all my favorite people. Time well spent!

I totally already had my 365 for the day picked out, but then had an unexpected change of plans. I was all set up downstairs to do Thiago's ironing when the power went out. We called Utah Power and they said plan on at least until 9:30. Well, there goes my night plans. So what did we do with ourselves. Piled in the car (way to hot to stay inside) and went and got a snowie. Came back to our house, spread the blanket out on the lawn and taught our 4 year old the wonders of Candyland. He is now a big fan. Now I ask you what would my boy remember more....me ironing or winning me and dad at candyland, all while trying to keep Lincoln off the board. Hmmmm....

Arrive at the soccer field. HOT, HOT, HOT....3:30 in the afternoon. Drive around searching for a park. Haul kids, stroller, purse, diaper bag, blanket, drink and treats for Carson all across parking lot and 2 soccer fields. Standing there searching for a shaded spot (need to buy me a shade umbrella). Not seeing anything, almost decide to just turn around an go home. Want to support my honey. Spot a big tree almost down behind the goal post. Can't see much of whats going on, but hey I am there and its shaded. Head on down there to my good ol' tree and set up our little spot. Sure glad I stayed...look at those faces!

I think I am so funny. Every day I pack Thiago a little lunch. We added up what he was spending on food throughout the week and it was ridiculous. So the homemade lunches started. The first time I made him a sandwich I wrote "SWAK" and "MWL" on the bags. (SWAK means sealed with a kiss and MWL is made with love for those who don't know). He opened it at lunch and called me and said what the heck does this mean. We both got a good laugh, including his coworkers. Now every day guess what I write on those little babies. Hee-hee, haw-haw....funny stuff!

Its Monday night, 10:00 pm. Am I headed for bed. No way. Its the Bachelorette tonight. 2 hour, men tell all. Ash is here for our weekly ritual. Kids are sound asleep, husbands downstairs playing FIFA. We have got Dots, Junior Mints, Cinnamon Bears and Sprite. Not to mention a little pedicure's, Ash brought her nail stuff. Perfection!

This crazy kid...loves packing the cooler. We were getting ready to go to Weber State fireworks. Got a ton of cute pictures, but I had to go with this one. I love how the anticipation of fun events is sometimes just as great as the actual event. In Carson's case that statement is defintely true.

Lucky duck I am. 2 nights in a row spent with the girls. Went out to say goodbye to Stacey, she is headed to Texas for a few years. I love these girls. Always will. I love that we can go forever without seeing each other, yet the minute we are together again we just pick up right where we left off. Best of luck to sweet Stace, hope these next few years are good to you and your family. You will be missed!

First time ever watching a Harry Potter movie. Jen has just been begging and begging me to read the books. I have tried, believe me I have tried. Just can't seem to get interested. After this movie though, well I have been persuaded. I 100% enjoyed this movie, soooo good. The kind you can't quit thinking about. I think it is safe to say I am jumping on the Harry Potter band wagon. What do you think about that Jen??

Oh boy...talk about a taste explosion. Theo was looking through his "Mens Health" magazine and found this recipe for Char Chicken Taco's. He used to make dinner all the time for us when we were first married. Now he is always gone and I am always home so it is me that does the cooking. He saw this recipe and decided he wanted to make it for us. I got all the ingredients and he went at it. SOOOOO good, I can't even tell you! So many great tastes going on all combined in one awesome meal. Yum!

Years from now I will look back at this picture and wish I had this day back. Instead of rolling my eyes and starting to pick it all up, I paused for a second and smiled. This is proof that the four little boys I know and love had alot of fun for themselves today. Those goofy little grins that I swear spend more time fighting than actually playing. Childhood, something we can truly never get back, hope we are making it count for them.

Very first 365 post...YAY!! Happy 31st birthday Souli. Wow, he is getting up there. We love the Phongsavath family, they are seriously our go-to couple. I think it is safe to say about 3 out of 7 nights a week we spend them together. Our kids get along perfect, so do the men, and of course me and Ash are bestest of friends. BBQ, cake and icecream, playing outside...perfect way to spend a summer evening. Thanks guys for your love and friendship, what would we do without you!
