-These pretty flowers brighten up my work day. Planted right outside our branch. -Went to make dinner, hamburger was no good. Crown Burger instead, much better. -Both kids asleep by 9:00.....awww, peaceful.
-Lincoln just woke up from his nap, and was only interested in big brother. -Went to a baby shower for one of our neighbors, so fun to sit around and get to know the cute girls I live by. -All 5 of my shows were new tonight...yes Tam, I really said 5. Private Practice, Grey's, Vampire Diaries, The Office and Parks and Rec. Don't worry I didn't watch all of them, but they are waiting for me on my DVR.
-Mom helped me plan out my front yard landscaping. I can't wait.....now all I need is some sunshine. -I love running errands with these two. Oh boy, do they have some funny conversations. Love listening to the way the world appears to these two little four year olds. -Had a Girls Camp activity tonight....yikes, I am stressed about this calling. Trying to remember to think positive.
-Made pancakes for breakfast. Had the Phongsavath kids this morning, and that is really the only time I can justify making them. When it is just me and my kids, we waste almost half of them. -Now my bathroom has been spring cleaned...hung up a brand new showercurtain. Makes me smile! -Mom, Ash, and kids joined us for Carson's soccer game...thanks for the support!
-I love my Monday mornings...nothing going on until about 12:30. I take my time. Waking up early for work on Fridays and Saturdays, and church on Sunday is no fun. I love sleeping in a little and then slowly getting prepped for the week. -Spent a good chunk of my day out trying to tame my strawberry patch. It is a tough, dirty job. -Grateful for the couple of nights of good weather. Much rather get my excersise out walking, rather than being stuck in the basement doing P90.
-Alarm didn't go off this morning...was 45 minutes late for church. I mean I am always late, but not this late. -Had my family over for dinner, first time using our grill this year. -Enjoyed our new purchase....the kids had the best time sitting around the fire...roasting mallows. The best part for me was going in and taking a shower after.
-A new view...look at those crystal clear windows. Thanks honey for the great cleaning job. -Tried out a new restaurant. NYPD pizza, it was super YUM!!! -Kids are out for the night, and honey and I rented a movie....I am off to snuggle up with my man.
-Kids are asleep -Hubby is at a late night movie with friends.....
and me, this is me. Lights are turned off, taken my nice, warm bath, feet kicked up...settled in to watch a few of my shows. Best moment of my yucky work day.
-Apparently Lincoln wasn't quite ready to wake up from his nap this afternoon, looked over and there he lay...sound asleep again. -Day started out yucky, but by this afternoon the sun was shining and I could finish my cleaning with the windows open. -Met my visiting teachers today, very sweet ladies and am grateful they stopped by!
-How many of us can we cram under one umbrella while out shopping today?? -Barbeque chicken salad and chicken enchilada chili from Zupa's....YUM, oh wait strawberry cheesecake too! -Who says you need girls to have a fashion show, me and my boys had a grand time trying on all their new summer apparel.
-Children are odd...me and Ash were busy studying mascara at Walmart today, look over and Carson and Brev have made little homes in the pet beds. Weird. -Sat at the kitchen table and got caught up on my "busy work" while Lincoln napped and Carson and Brev played in the backyard. Peaceful. -Hung up all of the maternity clothes Jen just returned...wonder which of us will be using it next??
-Got a great jump start on the yard today....including this little play box for the kids. They have spent the last 2 days out here enjoying the fruits of our labor. -Ate our first 2 meals outside on our new patio table...loved it. -Warm weather brings out all kinds of folks, we met some lovely neighbors and friends today.
-75 degrees today!!! Loved every minute of it. -Got to listen to cousin Ike speak at his homecoming. What a great kid, and we are so proud of him. -Lazy Sunday afternoon spent at Gus and Shalaes. Sat outside on a blanket in this perfect weather, holding a sleeping baby while my kids laughed and played. Perfect!
-Kids came home from Vovo's with rosy cheeks from an afternoon of fun outside. -Spent the evening with our good friends the Vogel's, Kusuda's and Phelp's....Iggy's and then back to Adam's house to visit. -Stopped for a late night frosty on the way home.
-Baby boy slept from 9:30-4:30....doesn't happen often. -32 oz. coke from 7-11, made work much more enjoyable. -First BBQ of the season at Ash's house. Grilled chicken, pasta salad, and a popsicle. YUM!
-Yep, this is how the children entertained themselves while I was cleaning today. Lincoln's crib mattress being used as a sled down the stairs. Boys will be boys! -Thiago was a tad late getting to the boys game today, so there I am out there trying to line up 10 little boys and get them ready to play. It was an experience! -Fresh, clean, crisp sheets calling out our names tonight...love that!
-Had to go get my Vitamin D levels rechecked, ran into an old friend....had such a nice chat catching up with her. -Spring cleaned the kids bathroom today, it sparkles! -Thiago had to work late, so the kids and I were on our own for dinner. Rubio's for me, Carl's Jr kids meals for them.
-Got in some quality snuggling time with the little miss. -Why is it that cleaning someone else's house is much more enjoyable than cleaning your own?? -Grandma Tereasa met up with us to watch Cars's soccer game..he was a slow starter but played like a champ!
-Spring break is over, back to school for Carson. -Back to soccer every night for Thiago. -And back to everyday tasks and running errands for Lincoln and I.
Now if only I could get these kids off to bed, so I could enjoy these little friends of mine...
